Like me and many other people out in the world, we don't exactly know the correct term or phrase to distinguish or describe a horse. I know for sure that when I first joined here, I didn't know the first thing about horses. It would be helpful to me and anyone else unfamiliar with the lingo of horse to have a description of things so we understand.
Some of the thing I could think of that I could use wording for are:
Hand sizing system
Body parts in different context
Examples of using them in sentences
Any other interesting breed or features about Horses
For now that's all I can come up with, and since I don't want to have to wiki everything for hours on end I would appreciate if someone could list off several things and keep this a reference page to fall back on.

Do you mean the official words for horse parts, or more "artistic" sounding terms that people use for roleplaying? I have a huge list of roleplay terms from everything from horse parts to colors that I can post if people need any help. It's a few years old, but hopefully it's not outdated.

I basically have a small thesaurus of synonyms for horse parts, colors, genders, etc. They're not the official terms, but they work well to add variety to posts. I've been adding to it whenever I see other people use new terms so some of them might sound a bit strange, but most are pretty helpful. Should I send it in a pm?

I don't think I've heard them called that, but it sounds like tysuga was just looking for the general terms for horse anatomy so yeah, nevermind then.

Horse speak is using words like pillars for legs and daggers for hooves and tassels or threads for hair. Ect.

Ah, yep, that's the kind of thesaurus I was talking about. I haven't roleplayed since Eventide Moor closed though, so I'm not sure if people still use them. XD Well, I guess if people are interested I could post them but either way works.
